How we work with clients
What do we actually do in practice? We’re usually involved in helping to implement change, or make things happen.
In most organisations this involves a combination of listening, analysis and insight. We generally take a very individual approach, tailored to each situation. Clients ask us to work with them in a variety of ways:
Consulting - We work closely with senior management and in-house teams to define, consider and implement many kinds of business development solution. We run short and long-term projects, and even work on secondment from time to time. The projects might cover marketing strategy and planning, branding and values, client satisfaction, key client programmes, change management, BD and marketing team organisation. We may continue our involvement through coaching or training.

Workshops, awaydays and retreats - Working with small teams or large groups, we run interactive workshops, awaydays and conferences. We will carefully design sessions to meet the objectives agreed, whether strategy and planning, team building, change management and/or addressing issues such as innovation, key client or sector development and targeting.

Coaching and mentoring - Three of our team are trained coaches. We help individuals on a one-to-one basis or in small teams to increase their confidence, capabilities, and enthusiasm in dealing with winning work, client relationship management, team leadership and a whole range of business development issues.

Training - Through consultation with our clients’ HR, training and development professionals we design and tailor BD and team leadership course content with the right levels of interaction, practice and theory. Training may follow a consulting project, and is often combined with coaching and mentoring to increase its effectiveness.
