Workshops and retreats
Key client development - As part of the roll-out of the key client programme (with which The Business Development Practice also assisted) this international client agreed to focus a major part of their two-day partner conference on priority clients. We designed and ran the programme of workshops and presentations, which included a complex but highly successful morning of client team sessions involving all partners working in small teams. One senior client partner described it as the best conference he had attended.
Innovation and service development - In order to unite a large international (virtual) team of specialist partners, this top ten firm asked The Business Development Practice to help devise and deliver conference content to build cross border team spirit and identify areas for future joint working. We decided to focus on service development (NPD) as the theme for the conference. It was a success and many actions were identified and new introductions made.
Networking skills - This award-winning firm was seeking a way of improving the networking and BD skills of its large team of specialist lawyers from across the UK. By jointly planning a stimulating and interactive agenda, and designing some highly tailored role plays, we created an event that involved all levels within the team, and combined skills development with an element of fun. We went on to deliver further skills development for the firm.
